Mike Bierman

Mike Bierman is president of Hunt Investment Corporation and joined the Hunt family of companies in 1994. His particular areas of emphasis are in BioVentures and Growth Capital. Bierman is responsible for leading Hunt’s various initiatives at Hunt Ventures, Hunt Private Equity Group, Hunt Growth Capital, Hunt Special Situations and Hunt BioVentures.

Prior to joining Hunt, Bierman served as head real estate counsel of Aetna Life Insurance in Hartford, Connecticut. Previously, Bierman was a partner/shareholder in the law firm of Johnson and Gibbs, PC, where he specialized in corporate and real estate matters.

Bierman received his undergraduate degree in business administration, summa cum laude, from Hastings College and his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable John F. Kilkenny, United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit from 1977 to 1978.
