Chris Eckerman focuses on early stage technology investments for Hunt Ventures. He joined the Hunt organization in June 2003.

Previously, Eckerman was business development manager for Yipes
Communications, a start-up network services provider of managed
end-to-end ethernet solutions. As business development manager,
Eckerman was engaged in various financial activities including investor
relations, fund raising and corporate and business development.

Prior to joining Yipes, Eckerman was a financial analyst with the mergers and acquisitions group of SG Cowen Securities Corporation in San Francisco. His experience in the firm included transactions involving domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and divestitures in the technology industry.

Eckerman has a BBA in finance and MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a former gold medal winner in swimming at the World Championships, Pan Pacific Games and World University Games.
